Do I qualify?
If you're thinking about buying a home through the Rochester Area Foundation's First Homes program, the first step is to call and set up an appointment with a First Homes-certified lender. The certified lender will have information on income qualification and potential homes for sale.

Homebuyers must have an annual income that is below 80 percent of the state median income. Income guidelines are set by family size. See the table below:

Homebuyers must be able to qualify with a certified lender for a first mortgage. First Homes assistance is available to homebuyers who have owned a home in the past, however, you cannot own another home and purchase a second home through First Homes.
